The educator as multiplying agent of knowledge

Gerisval Alves Pessoa*

I learned very with my teachers/professors, I say masters, and with my

colleagues, but I learn more with my students, because we are all sources of
information and knowledge that are acquired to the long one of our life, in the
conviviality in family, the community, with the friends, maybe with the enemies
and also, in the work.

In the teach-learning process, multiplier what we are? Professor, instructor or

mediator? In fact our role can better be developed as a mediator of
knowledge, with our ability we mediate the knowledge of a team for
construction of a new to know, that it adds value to become successful in the
opportunities or resolve technical problems or behavioral characteristic.

We “mediators” have taken advantage in this context, because we are one

alone person with our knowledge and a team with a diversity of knowledge and
a team with a diversity of knowledge that need to be directed to the construction
of new knowledge. The administration of a win-win relationship, we gain by
using our ability to encourage students to awaken their knowledge and develop
actions necessary to have a better world. Gain the students because they are
actors in this transformation and not only one replica of knowledge and thought
in the past: the master, without power arguing.
