ABSTRACTTHE EFFECT OF HEALTH EDUCATION : DIET TOWARD POTASSIUM INCREASE
PREVENTION BEHAVIOR TO THE PATIENT WHO HAS CHRONIC KIDNEY DISEASE THAT UNDER

Endang KisworowatiThe patients behaviour which has chronic kidney disease is still often inaccurate.
The patients behaviour inaccurazy is caused by the lack of knowledge about hiperkalemi and
anformation about diet is still less.the aim of this research is for analyzing the effect of diet illumination to
the knowledge change and potassium increase prevention to the patient which has chronic kidney disease
at Hemodialisa Room Dr Soedono Hospital Madiun.This research is action research pre experimental
with the pre test post test. The population of this research is the patient which has chronis kidrey
disease at hemodialisa Room RSU Dr. Soedono Madiun which fulfills in inclusi criteria the sample of this
research is the whole 30 respondents with the technique of non probability purposive sampling. Variable
independence in this research is diet illumination and variable dependence are the potassium standard of
the patient which has cronich kidney disease. Data collection procedure uses questionnaire for respondent
reaction indentification. The analysis which is used in is wilcoxon signed rank test p 0,05, p = 0,001,
there is the effect of diet illumination to the action change with p = 0,010 paired + test kalium.The
result of this result can be concluded that : diet lamination influences to the potassium value change of the
patient. Which has chronic kidney disease. The next t is needed the research about the effect of familys
support the patients behaviour in doing diet to the prevention of potassium value to the patient which
has chronic kidney disease.Key words : Health education : diet, knowledge and potassium value to the
patient who has chronis kidney disease.
