Sea Animals

This week we are learning:


Circle Time Review
This week we will review some of the
grammar and speaking we have done over
the past week.

What animal do you like?
Do you like apples?
Can you run?
Are you happy?
We will also be reviewing classroom objects
by getting the students to look around the
room and name as many objects as they can
taking turns.

Activity Time
This week during our activity time we will continue to learn about Sea Animals. We will start by
drawing a big picture on the board and asking students what animals live in the sea.

Sea Animals: Fish, seahorse, shark, starfish, whale, jelly fish, turtle, dolphin, octopus, crab,
lobster, shells

Review
This week we will review the three letter
word families we covered last week:
-an (can, pan, fan, man, van, ran),
-at (bat, cat, fat, mat, rat, hat)
-ap (sap, cap, map, nap, tap)
-am(dam, ham, ram, jam)
-ag(bag, tag, rag, wag)

We will be using worksheets to practice writing the names of the animals and listening for
instructions of what to do.
We will finish making our poster for the wall in the classroom about Sea Animals using
pictures that the students have coloured in themselves.
Make pictures of the sea animals to decorate the inside of the classroom.

This week we are going to continue blending 3 letters words. We will move on to new word
families et(jet, pet, wet, net, get, let. The students have been doing very well so we may be able
