A pointer appears and moves around the three options and
then selects the the second option: "The Act".
CUT TO:
1

INT. DARK ROOM - EVENING

The scene is dark. Nothing can be seen except a candle
glowing in dark.
CUT TO:
The scene closes down abruptly all of a sudden.
"PROLOGUE"

EXT. PORCH - DAY

Lower part of a door is seen. A leg is seen. The person
tries to wear shoe in his one leg; then the another. The
door behind is closed with a force. Lower part of a woman
in night dress is seen closing the door. The boy AMAN
(20), gets up after wearing shoes. He sits on his bike,
starts it and leaves.

EXT. ROAD - DAY

Aman drives on. He notices the fuel meter pointer shows
empty. He stops with the engine on. He appears disturbed.
CUT TO:

INT. THE ROOM - EVENING

PRIYA (20), is about to leave the room. Her boyfriend, Raj
is sitting on bed in his vest and shorts.
PRIYA
Bye.
As Priya approaches the door, Raj comes and stands in her
way. He leans on the door.

RAJ
Wait..wait..wait.. Cmon tell me.
It was fun, no?
Priya stares at his face. Her face is blank.
RAJ
Aisa hota hai. Thodi si
nervousness to hoti hi hai. I
knew youll enjoy it too.
Raj keeps smiling at Priya. He strokes his fingers against
Priyas cheek and then on her hair. Priya is looking down;
in thoughts.
RAJ
You know, you are beautiful.
And.....I promise, next time
itll be better.
Priya stares straight in Rajs face. After a moment, she
smiles weakly, pats her hand on Rajs cheek and leaves.
CUT TO:

EXT. NEAR RAILWAY TRACK - EARLY MORNING

Aman stands there, leaning on his bike. There is a railway
track parallel to him. His shiny black shoes are seen. He
looks at the infinite track with intense eyes. His face is
hard.
AMAN (V.O.)
Poem 1.
As the poem continues, the train comes. As the train pass
Aman, a cloud of dust spreads everywhere. While the train
goes, the poem ends and the sound of train increases and
then decreases. The dusty shoes are seen. Aman is shown
from behind and the sun rises from the background.
CUT TO:

INT. PRIYAS ROOM - NIGHT

Priya sitting on her bed, writes her diary. She has her
laptop open besides her. She is writing her diary entry in
a very confused state. Her laptop shows that she has
surfed about girls psychology on sex and relationships.
PRIYA (V.O.)
Poem 2.
A detailed view of her diary page is seen.

She suddenly thinks of something and with a hard face

turns the pages off her diary. She finds a page almost at
the end of diary. On the last line of the page, it is
written: [ The "G" (fun): 9009500153 ]. She sighs.
PRIYA (V.O.)
Bhaiya, me wo cabin me se call
karlu?
After some time...
She receives a message.
Message: Gigolo for you confirmed! 19/01/2012 6:00 PM....
CUT TO:

INT. AMANS ROOM - DAY

A cell phone kept on the table beeps. A hand takes hold of
it. Aman reads the message.
Message: Customer for u. Pay is very good. Its today.
19/01/2012. 6:00 PM....
Aman sees the time. Its 5:30 PM. He gets up, opens his
drawer and takes out a packet of condom out of a lot.
Fade out to black.
"THE ACT"

INT. DARK ROOM - EVENING

The scene is dark. Nothing can be seen except a candle
glowing in dark. Rest all part is dark. Slowly two bodies
are seen moving in the background; further indicating
sexual intercourse.
CUT TO:

INT. DARK ROOM - EVENING

Aman just finishes wearing his pants.
PAN:
Priya is sitting on the bed; her face covered with her
hands. Aman stands near her; confused.
AMAN
Sorry....Aapko pay nahi krna
hoga. Me dekh lunga.

Priya gives no reaction. She removes her hands from her

face. Her face is blank.
CUT TO:

EXT. ROAD - DAY

Aman stands with his bike just after the incomplete act.
He sees Priya coming out.
AMAN
Suniye. Aapko kahi chodna hai?
Priya looks straight into his face for some seconds.
PRIYA
Nahi thik hai.
Aman realizes something and then wears the helmet which he
earlier held in one hand.
AMAN
Aieye.
Fade out to black.
"EPILOGUE"

EXT. BANK OF LAKE - EVENING

Aman and Priya sit on the bank of lake. Their faces are
blank. The water is still.
PRIYA
How many times you have...you
know? With how many?
Aman laughs with distress in his eyes.
AMAN
How many times...kahe to some
55-56 times. And with how many so
it would be around 35-40.
Priya tries hard to understand.
AMAN
What about you? How many times?
PRIYA
Two times. Ek baar na chahte hue
bhi karna pada. Aur ek bar abhi
koshish ki to nahi ho paya.
The water flows slowly.

INT. AMANS ROOM - DAY

Aman walks in to the room. He takes out condom packs from
his drawer and throws it into the dustbin. He walks in the
washroom. He sees at the mirror. There is a newspaper
pasted on the mirror. He slowly takes it out. He sees his
reflection in glass.
AMAN (V.O.)
Mamma..Daddy..
I used to work as a prostitute. I
am sorry. I have quit.
CUT TO:

INT. PRIYAS ROOM - NIGHT

Priya writes her diary. She just finish writing. She keeps
the pad aside and lies down on the bad. After few moments,
she gets up. She opens up the diarys first page. The page
shows: "Im virgin!".
Fade out to black.
Sexual intercourse (commonly referred as sex) is
considered as an inapt topic to talk openly. Sex is often
labeled as good or bad depending upon the biological or
moral arguments put forward about it. Sex is a physical
act that involves minds and affects mental state of a
person. It is a persons mind that makes it imperative or
trivial.
Sexual intercourse holds key to emotional bonding between
two people, often imposes emotions after the act. On the
other hand, for the intent of pleasure it is just another
thing to do.
