Levels 1 and 2 represent students performing below grade level. More students scored 2s in
2013, however, more students scored 1s in 2014. In 2013 57% of the grade was performing below
grade level and in 2014, 59% of the grade was performing below grade level. This means that the 3rd
grade did not show progress in ELA.

scored 1s and 2s in 2013 compared to 2014. In 2013, 54% of the grade was performing
below grade level and in 2013 42% of the grade was performing below grade level. This
means the third grade showed progress in math.
