GET SET, READY, GO!
1. After reviewing the lesson, I will pass out the IPads. The IPads will be logged into the Kindle app with the story Snowball ready to read. 2. When you are done reading the short story, identify the theme, setting and characters. Once they are identified, write a summary on the short story. 3. Once you have been checked off, proceed to get into groups of NO MORE than 3 4. Brain storm with your groups on a short story of your own! 5. As a group you will create a power point that will contain your story with images. - refer to checklist 6. You and your team will then present your story to the class. 7. After all groups have gone, you will be tested! You will receive a story where you will identify the setting, theme, and characters as well as answer questions!
