Friends JS, GL and TM Teacher L
On the slide, friends JS and GL are pushing the balls down the slide and watching
them as they roll and hit the wall.
They walk down the ramp, pick up the balls and walk back up the ramp. Then they
throw the balls off the side of the slide.
TM carries over two plastic balls over to GL and JS and hands one ball to each.
JS throws the ball across the classroom; he has a surprised face as the ball makes a
sound as it hits the ground. He runs after the ball and picks it up with his thumb and
finger.
GL is watching JS and throws his ball, claps his hands, and laughs as it bounces to the
door.
GL runs towards his ball, as JS rolls his ball on the ground.
Teacher L moves closer to the friends and says, I like how nicely my friends are
playing with the balls in our classroom.
TM looks around the classroom and walks over to the chairs, looks under the chairs,
and grabs a green plastic ball that she finds.
TM then throws the ball towards the door and claps her hands with a smile on her
face.
9/23/14 After Breakfast 4 inside, 4 outside
Friends AP, AO, KS, and EF Teacher L and A
Right after breakfast and teeth brushing, 4 friends went outside and 4 friends staid inside
with Teachers L and A.
KS pulls out a texture square and places it on her face and then she puts it in her
mouth.
Teacher A walks over and gets down on KSs level and asks, Does that feel soft on
your face?
Teacher L brings over friend AO and sets her down next to friend KS.
AO pulls out a piece of plastic cross stitch, mouths the square, pulls the square out of
her mouth, holds it in front of her with one hand, and runs her finger across the
small square with her other hand.
AP walks over to join KS, AO and Teacher L, she grabs a shaker and shakes it with
her left hand above her head.
EF crawls over from the block area and Teacher L asks, EF are you coming to play
with us? EF smiles at Teacher L and crawls over to where the other friends are.
EF picks up a mirror, holds it with both hands, and looks at her reflection in the
mirror, smiles, and touches part of the mirror with her finger.
Teacher L gets out the bubble wands and pours some bubble solution into a square
container on the ground.
DM walks over to the container and picks up a wand, she dips it into the bubbles and
then sticks it into her mouth.
Teacher L grabs the giant fly swatter, dips it into the solution and waves it through
the air, producing large clusters of bubbles.
GL and AP run after the clusters, touching the bubbles and watching as they pop in
the air.
Teacher L continues to make more clusters of bubbles and the friends chase after
them across the yard.
TM catches some bubbles on her hand, looks at them and then licks her hand.
Teacher L looks at her and asks, Do the bubbles taste good? and TM looks at her
and says, YES!
