Seating Configuration/Use of Physical Space:

The class has 16 students, 1 General Education Teacher, 1 Special Education teacher, and 2 Para- professionals. The teacher will
model measuring of a plant to the whole group. Then the students will come to their stations for small group learning. 4 Students will
be seated at a table, one teacher or paraprofessional will be at each table.
Classroom Management:
The teachers and paraprofessionals are to serve the child and and facilitate the natural process of
learning. The teachers will will collect the pre and post-assessment data.
The teachers will assist the students at centers as needed.
Engagement of students/anticipatory set/Motivation:
Tell the students they can share their work with the class.

Recently we have been reading about plants. Well, today we are going to look at our own plants and measure the different part, the
stem and leaf. You are going to measure the same way that we measured our shoes.
