Objectives:
Students will discriminate initial /p/ sound 80% of the time.!

Student will identify initial consonant Pp 80% of the time!

Student will identify the high-frequency word the 80% of the time.
Pre-Assessment:
Running record to determine what level reader the student is.!
Post-Assessment:
Based on their ability to perform tasks, I will compete the following checklist. can produce an informal assessment
and note their ability to read and understand a CVC words vocabulary.

Book - The Garden, by Ned Jensen
Dry Erase Board
Use of Technology:
While reading the book during small group guided reading use the projector on the Smartboard.
