PERONNEL IN CHARGE FOR C.O.W OPERATION

1. CHIEF OFFICER
Personnel : In charge of overall crude oil washing operation.
Duties : He has overall responsibility of the operation.
2. 2ND OFFICER
Personnel : Actual operation
Duties : He undertake the actual operation of crude oil washing and check
the oxygen content of tanks before washing commences.
3. 2nd OFFICER
Personnel : Actual operation.
Duties : He undertake the actual operation ocrude oil washing and check the
oxygen during all operation

CAPTAINS DECLARATION
1. I undersigned .Papanagiotou Panagiotis. Captain of vessel VENETIA
state under my responsibility :
a) To acknwledge Ordinance of the Harbour Master .............................
Rules covering tankers washing operation by crude,C.O.W.
b) To have carried out and to carry out in the future all controls
prescribed by the above said Ordinance,prior ships arrival and
before, during and after c.o.w.
c) Officer in charge of C.O.W. operations:
Is qualified having undergone a training by an authorized Institute
or has acquired at least one year experience on board ships where
has carried out duties concerning C.O.W.
He is acquained with rules contained in Operations Handbook of the Ship
2. ALL PERSONNEL FOLLOWING C.O.W. OPERATION:
a) Are qualified having undergone a training by an Authorized Institute
b) Have acquired at least 6 Months experience on ships performing C.O.W.
c) They have been duly instructed on regulations concerning C.O.W
contained in ships Operation Handbook.
