Dear Russian government,

Human Rights in Russia are being abused very badly, and we need to do something about it. If
we dont make a move now and help our people then Russia will get worse. People need to live the way
they want to live without people trying to control them. First off, many migrant workers face
exploitation. They will confiscate their passports and forcing them to toil up to 12 hours a day with only
one day off each month, and that violates the Russia Law. Homeowners were forced out of their homes
without any compensation at all. Many resettled residents lost a portion of their livelihood because they
depend on agriculture or income from seasonal rentals in their seaside home. Russia is the most
dangerous country for independent journalists, who face threats, harassments, and lawsuit. 56 Russian
journalists have been murdered since 1992. The dumping of illegal construction waste and the
construction of power lines have resulted in landslides, causing homes to sink and collapse which
threatened residents health and safety. For example, on village, Olympic construction destroyed local
drinking wells, leaving people with no reliable drinking water source for years, that doesnt sound good
at all. These laws are having a terrible impact, starting with jailing activists and persecuting artists and
criminalizing propaganda of homosexuality. In June 2013, President Vladimir Putin signed a law imposing
a maximum three-year prison sentence for publicly. Also in June, parliament passed a law banning
adoption of Russian children by foreign same-sex couples and by unmarried individuals from countries
where marriage for same-sex couples is legal. In June the 11th of June Russias State Duma passed

unanimously legislation that imposes harsh fines and jail terms for the distribution of
homosexual propaganda to minors. In 2013, parliament unanimously adopted a law banning
promotion among children of propaganda of nontraditional sexual relationships, lesbian, gay, bisexual,
or transgender relationships. Authorities continued to intimidate and harass organizations, individuals,
and journalists who criticized the local government in the Black Sea city of Sochi. The way people are
being treated is disrespectful. For many people living with disabilities in Russia, taking part in the basic
activities of daily life can be difficult or even impossible due to a range of things they can, which is a lack
of ramps and elevators, leading to isolation in their homes to help them. Many people were allegedly
taken into custody. Some were released and others were expelled. The campaign to detain and deport
irregular migrants spread to other regions of Russia with high concentration of labor migrants, including
Sochi. Government policies and limited how much of pain treatment persists and severely hinders the
delivery of palliative care. Each year, millions of dying cancer patients is denied their right to have pain
relief, just because you guys are selfish. Anti-gay people took social media to lure people to come see
where they were abused and beaten. The new laws banned that people cannot tell children about gay
marriage. Parents were scared to break the law by telling their children that their relationships are equal
to themselves. And then later a new bill cane up, and said that they will take their children from their
parents. Gangs attacked protesters, and the police didnt do anything about it except for just watching.
Women are killed every 40 minutes in Russia as a people do not seek help because of ineffectual laws
result of domestic violence. This is what our government does to the people and together we need to
bring the people including the government to stop madness and the way that the people are being
treated and abused without anyone stepping in and stopping this. People do not want to be controlled

and living under someones laws and rules. The people want to lead their selves without anyone trying
to stop them. You guys allowed groups fight then sent the army when the demonstrators demand
independence. You guys didnt give people in Latvia, Lithuania, a fair share of elite positions in the
government and the military. And the people didnt share fair treatment from the Russians, people were
forced to move out of their homes because of Russian bombing. The decisions that people make ruins
the country even more and even ruins the people in the country. Hatred from the government does not
help at all and that what makes the people get fired up and thats why the people do what they do now
to each other. People dont feel safe in their own country, dont you think that is bad. People are even
scared to say how they feel, but they know not to because they will get killed or put in prison. Do us, the
people of Russia a favor help us survive and have peach in our country. People need to know what
freedom is and they need to be left free to do what they want to do what they enjoy. If not the people
will keep getting angry and going at each other and other things, the way that our people are being
treated is not good and someone needs to change it. Everyone thinks that Putin is great, and I am not
saying he isnt but if his country is going through this would you try and help to change it? Wouldnt you
hate to see people die all the time and taking advantage of? I do, and I know some others do too. We all
have to come together and fight for what we want and if we do that they will have to end up giving us
what we want. I have saw many people brought down emotionally and physically because of the
government. It hurts me to see the country I was born and raised in to be like this I thought when I was
younger that this city is the best but not right now because of the human right issues, and how people
are being treated but this is the way I feel.
