Accomplishments_____________________________________________
As a student, I excelled in academics, earning an SAT score of 2240 and scoring eleven 5's on
my Advanced Placement tests. I entered my freshman year of college with 58 credits, many of them
in math and science. I was president of the Science National Honor Society, the Physics Club, and the
Robotics Club while also a member of the National Honor Society and my school's Student
Government Association. In addition, I was an athlete on the soccer, cross country, indoor track,
outdoor track, and lacrosse teams. I won two regional titles with the soccer team and was captain my
senior year. I attended states twice with both the outdoor track and cross country teams, and with the
indoor track team I attended the state meet three times. Outside of school, I was an active member of
the Boy Scouts of America for twelve years and earned the rank of Eagle Scout in January of 2014.

Bunky's Charter Boats is a small, family owned business. My job started out as simply mating on
charter boats, but my responsibilities quickly grew and to this date I have done a plethora of jobs,
from engine repairs and painting to being a fishing camp counselor and an attendant in the stores ice
cream shop. While with the company, I earned my Maritime Consortium Mate's license, TAM
Certification, Maryland Jet ski Guides License, and I am preparing for my Captain's License in the
spring. Through each task I have completed in my time at Bunky's Charter Boats, I have used the
same work ethic and dedication, which is why I have been entrusted with so many responsibilities.
This job has taught me more than anything else the importance of people skills and customer service
through the daily interactions with customers both in the store and on the boats.
