From the education standpoint, this project made me realize that teachers

have a lot to do with the development of our children, and deserve more credit for
all that they do. Thats why I decided to give them a salary of $64,000 a year. I
believe that was a way of showing how important teachers are to us in Christian
State of America. As far as the Judicial Branch goes, before I did this project I had no
idea how the government functioned and I did not care about politics, but this
course showed me that it plays a very important role in my life; that is why in the
Judicial Branch of Christian State of America, I added that all Judges are required to
hold degrees in both Law and Theology. They should be well educated in these two
fields in order to run the country effectively.
I would advise the students to do in-depth research on the government they
have chosen, so when they present their constitution they will know everything
there is to know about that particular government and will be well prepared for
questions the judges may ask. Another piece of advice would be to practice
presenting their government to friends or family for an informal question and
answer session. This will help tremendously to develop their presentation skills.
My group worked well together in concert, as we all had different
personalities, and where one member fell short another member thrived. Everyone
in my group did a very good job in their roles, but looking back on this experience, I
know that we would have been much stronger as a unit if we would have met more
frequently to prepare our presentations.
When creating the Christian State of America Constitution, each member of
the group researched Theocracy, as a result we came to understand the religion and
present new ideas and views on the project. Evaluating the United States Judicial
system, we decided to appoint an odd number of Judges, which we believed would
result in a more justified outcome when voting. In the process of researching for this
project, the group came to an understanding of a complex Judicial system with all its
interpretations, and using them to explain an alternative form of government. In the
group discussions, we described the ideas we had to one another and used note
cards as a reference guide for use in retrieving the information to help in the
presentation. We also used memorization to help in the process of remembering our
parts.
