    Construction of a new Mellow Mushroom restaurant in the Coral Ridge Mall is underway. Demolition began on November 3rd and wall framing began on December 1st, with substantial completion scheduled for February 3rd. In November, crews completed demolition, underground piping, and metal stud framing in the kitchen. New overhead duct installation and soffit framing have also started. This will be the only Mellow Mushroom location in Iowa.

    building permit
    December 1: Wall framing began
    February 3: Substantial completion

    Mushroom restaurant in the Coral

    During the month of November,
    crews completed demolition and
    underground piping
    New overhead duct is being
    installed in the dining and
    bar areas
    Metal stud framing in the kitchen
    is completed and soffit framing has
    started in the bar and dining areas
    Kitchen in wall rough-ins have
    started with wall finishes starting
    later in the month of December

    Fun Fact:
    There are dozens of Mellow
    Mushrooms across the southern
    United States. This is the only Mellow
    Mushroom in Iowa.
