BATTLE OF THE COWSHED CONTINUED

LEADING STORY THE BATTLE OF THE COWSHED

Inside this issue:
Propaganda techniques
We had taken over a human farm. Snowball had been expulsed. Napoleon and
Squealer used many types of propaganda to persuade us to support their ideas and actions.
Watch out for Napoleon, I say, he is using all kinds of propaganda. Napoleon is using scapegoat.
Scapegoating is when you put the blame on someone else. In this case, Napoleon our leader
blamed Snowball for destroying the windmill and for being in league with the humans. I do not
think that this is right. Even Boxer, a supporter of Napoleon said that Snowball fought bravely
and does not necessarily believe that Snowball has destroyed our windmill. One more technique
that Napoleon uses is either or fallacy. He is saying that we animals are either for him or against
him and for Snowball. The third type of propaganda techniques Napoleon and Squealer use is
namecalling. For example they said that four legs good, two legs bad. So the animals are saying
that two legs are bad so humans and legs are bad, and animals are good. This is an example of
namecalling because Napoleon is attaching a negative label to humans and legs.

The Battle Of the Cowshed

This is CNN news for animals and currently in England there is a farm not
run by humans but by animals.
It had been early October and the corn had been harvested and threshed. We had
seen humans dressed up in farm clothes coming from Foxwood and Pinchfield, they
had trespassed the gate of the Animal Farm. We had seen them because we had
been working outside. We knew what obstacle we had to face to keep our farm.
Snowball was the head of our defensive operations and we knew that he would do a
good job of defeating these rude, big creatures.
They had come with sticks in their hands and Mr.Jones had a gun. We knew
they posed a great threat and took our hooves and waste as weapons. Yes, the
animals were brave. The pigeons who always followed Snowballs commands flew
over the heads and muted on the animals in mid-air[pg.57 Animal Farm].
The geese also tried their best but the men were too strong, and drove them of
with their sticks.

The pigeons were interviewed and they said that they helped as much as they
could.
Four legs good, two legs enemies, Snowball said when he had been interviewed
after the battle.
After Snowball launched the first attack with the pigeons he also came with the
second one.
Boxer said that we really kicked the humans buts.
Muriel, Benjamin, and all of the sheep with Snowball as captain and rushed to these
intruders and butted and prodded the men with all their might!
A horse told us that he hoofed the men in their legs and buts.
The men were too strong for them, and a squeal from Snowball gave them the
signal to retreat.
We really had a triumph of animalism because we had shown that all animal are
equal because all of us did their part in defeating the humans.
We fled through the gate in our yard. This was already planned but the humans
thought they had defeated us. But this was our plan. Four legs good, two legs bad is
our motto and a principle of animalism. We never gave up. The horses, the cows and
the pigs who had been laying ready for ambush, emerged from their secret hiding
places and cut of the humans' escape route.
While they did this Snowball signaled for charge and dashed out at Mr.Jones
and hurled him onto a pile of dung.
All of us really did their part, our leader had told us.
Our triumph was clear, we had won the battle and protected our farm. Animalism
had worked.
This was the story of the first event, which occurred last week on the A nimal

Farm this incident was the battle of the year.

Later interviewed, the animals said this:
I think that this event was part of our revolution, finally showing the humans
that we are the bosses in town.

Yeah, it was an amazing event in which they got their buts handed to them.

It definitely was a way of showing what we had, I hoofed one guy in the head
so hard, he blacked out.

2nd Battle of The Windmill

Snowball had been expulsed and Napoleon had been chosen as their new
leader. Frederick had given forged many to their leader, so Napoleon had
pronounced the death penalty on him.
The morning after Frederick had given Napoleon the forged money in
exchange for their timber, the attack on the animals came. One of the animals
reported; I saw the men halting at their windmill, I thought they were going to
tear the windmill down.
Napoleon told them that this was impossible, they had built the walls to thick.
After the dynamite had exploded I thought that the windmill would still be there
because Napoleon told us that it would be impossible to tear down our sturdy, wellbuilt windmill. But later after I Had killed a few men I saw it was destroyed, they
had destroyed our work. We gave it to those destroyers, I hit the guys so hard I
broke their heads with my hoofs. Yes we had won but they sure had destroyed our
work of two years, one horse had said at a press conference.
They had done it again, they had destroyed our windmill. Go long live Animal

Farm and the windmill, but all humans have deserved their death penalty. Squealer
announced the gun firing was to celebrate our victory, but I think this was
redundant.
We had lost one of our best cows, three of our bravest sheep, and two of our
smart geese.
This event was a tragic event for us, but it was an event that showed our
animalism. We were eventually superior to them, but still, they had destroyed our
windmill.
We will, from now on make them think twice before they come and damage,
destroy, and trespass our property.
As we dearly support the principles of animalism, and hope to keep and maintain
our farm, we better put up a trained army, and guards that guard our farm at day,
and at night. The humans who had invaded the animal farm had no right to trespass
their property and even destroy it.
We had to show them, we can not let them mistreat us so badly. We have
worked so hardly for our farm, and our principles of animalism, and now they come
and want to take it back from us, even though we worked harder as farmers on our
farm, than all human farmers ever combined.
Yeah right, they were stupid, a nice, honest human said after he had been
interviewed by another human.
I'm afraid of humans from now on.
But we can't be intimidated, a cat said.
I like animals, but not a farm ruled by animals, that is just foolish. A human had
said after a local policeman interviewed the criminals' ringleader.
Isn't this outrageous, the humans had a big mouth instead of realizing their
mistake.
We need to take action!, our leader said. We need to protect our Animal Farm, it
is our only chance of keeping our principles of animals alive.

Observations of immigrants to America. Well, America is

so amazing, right! The very uncorrupt government, the NSA, the CIA and the army are
really the best things in America.
The government is so uncorrupt. Some people are in court, being convicted of
murder and more, and others are arrested. They put more emphasis on minor cases ,
however the big criminal persons seem to be on the loose.
Yeah, like the government is working out great right now.
Yeah right, like the ads are true , vote for this person and he will do these great things. Like
that is going to happen. In 2013, the Unite States did not even rank in the top 10 of
uncorrupt countries according to a chart of corruption levels at
http://www.transparency.org/cpi2013/results.
One more subject is the army. The army is in its home territory right now fighting in Irak,
Afghanistan, Assyria and other countries in the middle east for peace.
The CIA is the U.S central intelligence agency, and underlines the word intelligence In
the name of its organization. They are so intelligent that they felt to be forced to torture
captured soldiers, and imprisoned former Jihad fighters. This was recently made public by a
more than three thousand page document of the U.S Senate, the violation of their own
signed agreement made by most of the nations on earth several years ago.
The NSA, which is the National Security Administration is such a honest organization
that they illegally spied on countries in South America and Europe. They were so honest and
trustworthy that they illegally spied on telephone calls on the German chancellor Angela
Merkel who is an ally with the U.S. This is just an example. This really shows true friendship,
and trustworthiness.
They should change the the song from :Santa Claus is coming to town to The NSA
Is coming to town and the verse He knows when you are sleeping, he knows when you are
awake to the NSA likes to spy, it knows when you are a speaking, it knows when you are
using a phone or other electronic device, so better watch out be good for goodness sake, Im
telling you why, the NSA is spying on us.
