8. Course objectives

To study the characteristics of Gunn Diode, and measuring the wave

guide parameters like attenuation, VSWR, Impedance and frequency. To study
the characteristics of reflex klystron, directional coupler, scattering parameters of
a circulator and magic tee. To study the characterization of LED, laser diode, and
Optical fiber, design of fiber optic link.
