Jan. 11, Sun.- Ladies Tea at 4 p.m. here at church. Michelle Glick will be sharing
with us. Please RSVP the morning of the 11th. More info in the narthex. Any
questions, contact Cindy.
Jan. 12, Mon - Ministry Team Meeting, 6 p.m., Board of Elders Meeting at 7 p.m.
Thanks for your prayers for these meetings. If you have questions, encouragement,

suggestions, etc. for our church, or if you have something you'd like to discuss or
present at one of these meetings, please share that with the ministry team. Your
input is welcomed.
Jan. 14 Wed.- Jr. Youth, JGA, and JBA will meet at the Bowmansville Mennonite
Church from 7-8:30 p.m. Jr. Youth will be having a Mystery Supper - come
hungry!. JGA will learn about prison ministry and make cards to send to women in
prison. JBA will have a Project Building Night.
Jan. 17, Sat.-Talent night at the church at 7 p.m., come and participate and/or enjoy
the talents God gave us. Sigh up to sing, play an instrument, read a poem, tell a
story, etc on the table in the narthex. There will also be snacks.
Jan. 21, Wed.-Bowmansville District Sewing Circle will meet at the Bowmansville
Mennonite in the morning and afternoon. If you will be there for lunch, please bring
a hot or cold dish to share with the group, as this is the month for our carry in lunch.
The project for this month is comforters and blankets. You are welcome to make a
comforter (heavy weight single/twin or double size are preferred), or donations of
purchased twin/full sized blankets can be used as well.
Jan. 22, Thurs.-Our church will be providing the Community Meal at Trinity
United Methodist Church, Denver. Please consider Walking with Jesus Locally
by helping to serve or donate food items for this community outreach opportunity.
People are needed from 5-7:30 p.m. Sign-up sheets are located in the narthex.

Jan. 27, Tues.-MRC Work Day: Mark your calendars, and plan to help work at
MCCs MRC. If you are able to come for the entire day (9 a.m.-3 p.m.), please
bring your lunch. Drink is provided. Work includes knotting comforters, quilting,
and recycling projects. Men and women, of all ages, are welcome!
Feb. 7, Sat.- Woodcrest Retreats Sweetheart Banquet will be held at the Alive
Church (formerly Ephrata Mennonite Church) at 6 p.m. Come enjoy delicious food,
special music and encouragement for your marriage! "Faith for the Future" will be
the theme of speakers Gene & Nancy Forrey. They attend Rissers Mennonite and
are involved in a counseling ministry. Cost: $40 per couple. Call 717-738-2233 for
reservations by Jan. 31, 2015.
-Lancaster Mennonite Conference seeks 80-100% time administrative assistant
to carry through on daily routines and provide administrative assistance to
Conference Office staff beginning on or around March 1, 2015. Person should be
competent with Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher, and Access, have strong
organizational and administrative skills, be self-motivated, able to make decisions
and act independently, and have good communication/interpersonal skills. At least
two to three years of related work experience preferred. Submit a resume and letter
