Offering last week was $3,260.25. Attendance last week was 122. Feb 5, Sun. - Pulpit Exchange: Phil Horning will be speaking at Red Run Mennonite, Carl Sensenig will be speaking at Bowmansville Mennonite, and we welcome Larry Weber (lead pastor of Bowmansville Mennonite), speaking here. Feb 6-7, Mon.-Tue.- Our Ministry Team and spouses will be on a short Leadership Retreat at Woodcrest. We'd be grateful for your prayers that this would be a time of spiritual blessing and team-building. Feb. 8, Wed.-JGA, JBA and Jr. Youth will meet at the Bowmansville Mennonite Church from 7-8:30 p.m. Jr. Youth will be cutting jeans for MCC and making

pizza. Bring along old jeans and a strong, sharp scissor. JBA will be going to Turkey Hill Wildlife Studio for a tour. (Please note, this is a change from the schedule of events that was handed out at the beginning of the year.) JGA will be having a Friendship Tea. Bring a friend! Feb. 15, Wed.-All are invited for a morning & afternoon sewing circle at Bowmansville. Comfort knotting, quilting ; sewing baby items & school/sewing bags are the main focus. You want to help but can't attend, consider cutting patches or sewing patches together. Sewing or stringing bags is a useful task as is finishing out the comforters/comfort tops. MCC special project will be sewing kits(New items only):1 metric tape measure,2 spools dual use white thread(cotton/polyester, minimum 273m/300 yds ea), 2 spools dual use black thread(cotton/polyester, minimum 273 m/300 yds. ea),1 thimble (medium size),1 dressmaker's scissors (good quality), 1 pkg. needles (appox.25), 1 pkg.straight pins (appox.100), 1 pkg. hooks & eyes (appox.12),1 pkg.sew on snaps (appox.20-25),10 assorted safety pins Feb 17, Fri.-There will be a Friendship Night here in the church fellowship hall at 6 p.m. There will be a meal served as a fundraiser by the Bible Quiz team. In addition to the meal, there will be some spiritual input as well as some games centered around the theme of friendship. All ages are welcome, childcare will be provided following the meal. Especially intended to enable us to invite others, especially those not yet a part of a church family. Feb. 26, Sun.-Youth Sunday-The subject will be the sanctity of human life. If you have any questions about the content please talk to Travis. Also, donuts, coffee, tea and juice will be available from 8:15-8:45. Donations will go towards the youth fund. Mar. 3, Sat.-Mark your calendars for the Stewardship University coming to LMS. Please let Steve McCosby know by Feb. 5th if you plan to attend. Several discounts are available. This is a great opportunity to attend a wide range of workshops designed to sharpen our skills as Godly stewards of time, talents and resources Mar. 24, Sat.-The PA Relief Sale is hosting a fundraising banquet at 6 p.m. at Yoder's Restaurant. Doors open at 5 p.m. with the dinner starting at 6 p.m. A free will offering will be received to benefit MCC. This year the banquet features John Schmid from Ohio. John has a unique style of singing, a blend of country, folk, gospel, with a touch of contemporary. Reservations are required. To reserve a seat, contact Jane at 717-656-8530. -Last week to sign up for "Theater in Worship"a hands-on workshop with actor, director and playwright Ingrid DeSanctis (Ted & Co., Eastern Mennonite University, etc.) FridaySunday, February 1012 at Blossom Hill Mennonite Church.
