Part 1: Choose an article:

The article must be: --At least 750-1000 words. -From a newspaper, magazine, or Lasalle
library database (NO Google searches) on an environmental issue that interests you. -Published September 2009-present.
Part 2: Complete the following in 2-3
pages
1.

HEADING: Name, Date, Period, Title of article

2. SUMMARY: Summarize the article in your own words. Depth and complexity of ideas
should be supported with details and examples from article (1 -1.5 pages)
3. REFLECTION: Discuss your view of the article. Why did you choose this article, What
did you like/ dislike about the article, What did you learn, What made it interesting to you?
Include One question that could be used as discussion in class. (~ 1 page)
4: CITATION: MLA citation of the article. (do not copy/paste URL)
