Module Physiological psychology

 Brain model report with story board: (25% of grade)


You should choose a topic explaining the functions of particular brain structures and their relation to
behavior and mental activity and describing the diseases occurring as a consequence to the
malfunctioning of this area. You should choose a topic and develop a report outline no later than week
7. You submit a rough draft for comments by no later than week 9.

- The number of words should not exceed 1000 words. (Excluding references,

bibliography etc).

- No penalty will be applied if the word limit is exceeded by 5%.

- If the word limit is exceeded the work will receive a mark of zero.

- You must state on your submission form the number of words (excluding References, bibliography
etc).

- Using the APA style

 It should be formatted in APA style. Format: Times New Roman 12 pt. font, the paper

should be double-spaced, the paragraphs should be indented, your in-text citations

should follow APA guidelines and you should include a reference page at the end of

your paper.

- The accepted similarities only 20% otherwise the paper will be scored as Fail. (excluding
References, bibliography etc).

- No Plagiarism is accepted

- Submit in Turnit in for report. (Submission won’t be accepted without turnit it report for originality)

- Due date at the 10th week of the course.

- Coursework submission form: a fully completed and signed Coursework Submission and Statement of
Academic Honesty Form to accompany the report assignments.

- The mark will be distributed on the font, the content and the way of discussing, presenting the idea
and the storyboard of the brain presented.

- Grades will be posted within two weeks of date submission.

- Generic feedback will be posted on the e-learning after one week of grade announcement.

- Individual feedback is given upon request within one week of grade announcement through emailing
the module leader.

- It includes the following points:

 Cover page including the title of the topic, name of the student and the module leader.
 The title Choose a topic related to the functions of particular brain structures.
 INTRODUCTION - State also how you plan to approach your topic. Explain briefly the major
points you plan to cover in your report.
 BODY
 CONCLUSION - Restate your idea presented. Explain why you have come to this particular
conclusion.
 Academic language: Use formal language i.e. It also seems possible that perhaps [the]
reluctance to delay gratification...It could be said that...
 Cite your sources and add reference List at the end of your report.
