Vibe is a music and entertainment magazine founded by

producer Quincy Jones. Quincy Jones launched Vibe in 1993,
in partnership with Time Inc.
Originally, the publication had been called Volume before cofounding editor, Scott Poulson-Bryant gave it the name Vibe.
The publication predominantly features R&B and hip-hop
music artists, actors and other entertainers. After shutting
down production in Summer 2009, Vibe was then purchased
by the private investment fund InterMedia Partners and is
now issued every-other month with double covers.
The magazine's target demographic is predominantly young,
urban followers of hip-hop culture.
However since the magazine had a larger online presence, in
2014, the magazine moved online-only

I believe this publishing company will be very suitable for my music magazine because they not only publish a wide
range of magazines which might mean that readers outside my target audience could purchase my media product.
Plus Time Incs consumers are near the same age as my target audience which will broaden my magazines consumers
as well.
Finally, with Time Inc being online, my magazine will be advertised online to over 100 million viewers and visitors of
the Time Inc website.
However,
This publishers Target Audience has an income of over $100,000 annually, for my target audience when most of them
will be leaving education of starting University, I will need to choose an appropriate price to suit the publishers needs
and the target audiences.
Also, because there are so many brands linked with Time Inc, my music magazine will have to be something dynamic
in order to stand out from the rest and to grab my target audiences attention online and in the shops
