assistance in identifying
a suspect who is believed to have committed 8 armed robberies
Merritt
across the 3 provinces:
Dec 1 in Princeton, Dec
9 in Vernon, Dec 19 in
High River, Dec 23 in
Merritt, Jan 8 in Swift
Current, Jan 13 in Lethbridge, Jan 16 in
Vernon
Claresholm AB, and Jan
21 in Aldergrove.
The suspect is described as a Caucasian
male, 25-35 years old,
slim build, 56- 6 tall,
brown
unshaven
goatee/beard; wearing Claresholm, AB
a black tuque, dark
sunglasses, dark clothing, wearing gloves.
All the robberies involved a weapon either being produced or

cash and fled on foot. No
employees or customers
were physically injured.

are working together to identify the person responsible and bring him safely into
custody. The public should not approach
the suspect as he is considered armed
