Annotation: This is a diary excerpt of Christopher Columbus. It
explains about what he did and where he went. The journal entry
goes by dates, saying what he did on each day and what he
expected or hoped to do the next. This diary entry helps me to
understand what Columbus did on a day-to-day basis.

Annotation: This letter is from Columbus reporting to Ferdinand
and Isabella. He is basically saying that all is well and with a little
help he will be able to get all of the resources he needs. This will
help me because now I know part of the reason he was exploring.

Annotation: This website will give me the information I need in
order to learn all I need to know about Columbuss background. It
tells me things such as where he lived, his date of birth, and what

he did in his life. I feel as if this will be one of my most reliable


sources.

Annotation: This biography tells me even more information about
what Columbus did during his life. What I especially plan to use in
this is the section devoted to legacy, which is part of what we are
doing this project for.

Annotation: Columbus wasnt the first person from Europe to have
made it to America. There were many others. This shows that even
though Columbus is famous for reaching America, other people
have been there as well.

did such as figure out that the world was not flat but round like a
ball. It also talks about other things such as the three ships he

It tells about his background story, and about his voyages and

discoveries. This will help me by supporting me with detailed facts


about Christophers life.
