The rich past of America is characterized by the remarkable commitment of diverse individuals

and communities. Monuments to the activities and achievements of these organizations and

leaders is set up in various countries. However, several statues have created outrage among

Americans today, most of which have been torn down by demonstrators and some have been

taken down based on statute. Americans have argued that historic monuments influence

American society both negatively and favorably.

The creation of these historic landmarks was behind Mount Rushmore. But only the statues of

those people had the potential. This paper introduces important historical figures who, on the

grounds of their contribution to diversity, inclusion and incorporation, should have statues and

monuments in Mount Rushmore. First of all, Thomas Paine is a legendary philosopher whose

brochures describe and influence the call for freedom of America. Paine's pen 's art was more

influential than the Washington Sword on American independence. Paine has gained less

scientific attention for this extraordinary commitment. This paper therefore supports Thomas as a

historical character that suits well with Mount Rushmore.

Susan B. Anthony is an excellent American person known for her outstanding efforts to advocate

women's representation and representation in issues like voting in the legislature. She could

guide women and other feminists to struggle for women's rights through her leadership skills.

The State Woman Suffrage Association, pushed with indignation by the 14th and 15th

amendments, promoted women's voting rights. Often, as she was attempting to cast a ballot and

fined $ 100, she was convicted. Sadly, a few years after women were given civil rights in the

19th amendment, Anthony passed away. In shaping American history, Susan B. Anthony's

attempts to achieve the inclusiveness and dignity of women.

HONORS FINAL PROJECT ANNOTATED BIBLIOGRAPHY 5

The beginnings and broad diversity of America are due to Christopher Columbus. Columbus is

deserving of honor for his excellent adventure, which brought to light America, the new world.

Moreover, the Italian-American culture was born in Columbus's reprisals for the assaults of the

new world nativists. Along with his crew, national immigrants were created and brought a

variety of successful people with vibration. New habits, new technology, fresh insights and new

food were adopted by the new population. Christopher Columbus is a remarkable fighter who

has a national distinction and the statue of Mount Rushmore included.

This final project discusses and reiterates that monuments on American streets of Christopher

Columbus must be upheld and that his statues must be incorporated into Mount Rushmore.

American diversity, integration, and tolerance has influenced Christopher Columbus. Christopher

Columbus' discovery is the root of America's origins and large diversity. For the extraordinary

voyage that revealed America to European nations, Columbus is commemorated and recalled.

Columbus and other Europeans who accompanied him later introduced the Italian-American

culture.

Migrants may be thwarted by opposition and attack by western nativists. The nativists then had

to deal with the newcomers. Immigrants built colonies and owned land with ongoing contact

among the different communities contributing to inclusiveness and equal opportunity. A

diversity of vibrant rich communities has emerged as national immigrants settle in. The west has

introduced urban habits, new technologies, creative insights and new cuisine. Christopher
