Colombia is a rich country in natural resources, however it`s poor in

organizational culture. Throughout Colombian history, people have experienced
lived in a war cause by natural resources administration control, which has
leftleaving (dejando) communities and territories as victims.
Colombia mining is a strategic sector for his development. In a race without
control or clear rules, this activity makes pending in the territory, dragging many
problems on society, the environment, welfare and health of people. Mining in
Colombia is richness for exploiters, but it means the death forof natural
resources and for their nearby communities because it generates deforestation
dangers and pollution; for example, the wastes of the mining contaminate the
water, affecting the nearby forest.
On the other hand, most negative impacts of mining in Colombia are directly
related, without exception, with the prevailing poverty in much of the mining
areas of the country., tThe nearby communities have appalling conditions of life
because the pollution affects directly his health.
To summarize, health problems and pollution associated with mining in
Colombia are closely linked to factors of extreme poverty, lack of status, lack of
education, technical assistance and technology transfer. Our country must
propose and develop clear laws for clean mining in Colombia, which could
