Walking Together...One Step at a Time

Lori Benson Adams, M.Ed., has extensive experience helping children with
learning, emotional, and behavioral challenges. Loris 30 year career has
included years in the field of early intervention, as well as teaching students
in public, private and home school settings. For the past ten years Lori
served as a private educational intervention specialist, and is still sharing her
tremendous passion for teaching with families and professionals today. Lori
contracts with a variety of local schools, providing ongoing assistance for
children with special needs.
Lori is also a highly sought after national speaker. Her topics include teaching highly visual learners, improving executive functioning skills in children
and teens, and using play as a therapeutic intervention for social and learning skills.
Lori is the proud mother of three young adult sons, one of whom has significant learning and medical challenges. She draws from her professional and
personal experiences, bringing a unique
mix of humor and practical strategies to
her work.
