Teaching Creative Drama to Children, CSU, Fall 2014
- This course was a practical opportunity to work with and instruct children in the principles of
playmaking, focusing on the works of Viola Spolin and G. B. Siks. In this class I got hands on
experience teaching and working collaboratively with my peers, as well as guiding classes on my
own. I worked with students Kindergarten through 12th grade in a variety of settings.

many roles I help create outreach programs to work in conjunction with high school theatre troupes
and facilitate HS Visit Days.
- I am actively involved in CSUs Theatre Department, I have been a part of eight shows in my four
years attending CSU.
- Though so much of my experience is in the theater I do have a deep love of literature and long to
bring that passion into every classroom I get to be a part of.
