Students: cardboard, small objects for collaging


such as textured paper, string, etc., paint, Plexiglas,
Styrofoam, glue, paper for printing on

WEDNESDAY FEBRUARY 11
Learning Target-TSW learn how to construct a
collograph plate. TSW know this once his/her plate
is successfully constructed.

Do NowTake out cardboard sculpture. Then, get
a bottle of glue (3 per table), a big brush, 2 yogurt
containers of water per table, and some
objects/fabric.

THURSDAY FEBRUARY 12
Learning Target-TSW learn how to paint an
isolation layer on a collograph paint. TSW know
this once his/her plate has an isolation layer.

Do Now Take out cardboard sculpture for


critique. Then, get a bottle of glue (3 per table), a
big brush, 2 yogurt containers of water per table
Take out collograph plate and paint 2nd layer of glue
on it.

TUESDAY FEBRUARY 17

printmaking with a brayer. TSW know this when
he/she finishes at least 6 prints using the brayer

*Cover tables with fabric
*Take out tempera paint
*1 cup of water, rag, and brayer for every other
student
Do NowPick 6 pieces of paper and take out your
collograph plate
