    This advertisement promotes a new map created by F. E. Michelson showing the development of Detroit north of Woodward Avenue. The map depicts in color the subdivision of land into house lots and streets from Highland Park to Royal Oak. It is the first map ever made of this district and graphically displays the astonishing growth of the city northward. Nearly every foot along the avenue is shown to be laid out. The map section shown is part of a larger map being prepared and copyrighted for distribution to Michelson property owners and others interested in the development.
