Blurb: it is about a girl who schizophrenia. she has been dealing with it
for a long time but she has got to a point where it is starting to control
every aspect of her life. it is a one person story as it is how she deals
with the disease. the story starts that she is in the school bathroom
taking her meds as she feels a headache coming on this usually means
she is about to have another episode. her other half then appears sat
behind. it starts with that her other half is mocking her and making her
life once again an unbearable mess but the you see how her drugs start
to kick in.
as her other half begins to feel weak and powerless and almost starts to
disappear into the back of her mind rather than being seen and hear like
another person

What is narrative?
A narrative (or story) is any report of connected events, presented in a sequence of written
or spoken words, and/or in a sequence of (moving) pictures.

What is a linear narrative?

Follows a certain pattern from beginning to end (straight line)

What is a non-linear narrative?

Doesnt follow a certain pattern (disjointed) starts from the end and continues
backwards.

What narrative structure does your final video have?

Its a linear with a cliff hanger ending.

why wont you just leave me alone? I have done everything you have asked of me

No I don't
other half:
im here because you want me here, thats always why i come
Kat Dawson
Ni i don't! thats why i take my pills! why wont you just leave!?
other half:
because you are lonely and I'm your only hope of having real friend
Kat Dawson
i had friends but you took them away from me!
other half:
ahhh.. but no one knows you like i do

If you're not going to go i might as well end this!

other half:
that is not a good idea! you have tried to do this before and that didn't end well.
Kat Dawson:
thats because there was some one there trying to stop me. trying to save me from

LIES!!

its about time i faced reality you are not real and you are not really here.
(gaging)

you are not real and i will get rid of you!
other half:
what are you doing to me are you trying to hurt me? i think im going to be sick
Kat Dawson:
FINALLY the pills they are kicking back in maybe you will stay gone for longer this
time?
other half :
(sick in toilet)

other half:
make this pain go away you are supposed to be my friend!
(Kat stays silent)
other half:
you are supposed to be there for me like I'm there for you!
Kat Dawson:
things would be so much better if you just stayed in my head like normal thoughts

other half:
but you are not normal you are special you always have been

Kat Dawson:
that may be how i should feel but you make me do bad things and that i know is not
special
other half :
you think i am dangerous Kat?
Kat Dawson:
No! But both of us together yes!
other half:
but we have been together so long Kat?
losing me would be like losing half of yourself

its a part I'm willing to lose
other half:
why cant we just have one last time of being together ill be better i promise?

Kat Dawson:
you say that every time but you never change!

other half:
this time will be different

Lighting

What is low-key lighting? Low-key lighting is a style of lighting for

photography, film or television. It is a necessary element in creating a
chiaroscuro effect. Traditional photographic lighting, three-point lighting
uses a key light, a fill light, and a back light for illumination.

What genres may use this? Noir or horror genres may use this to
create a darker effect

What is high-key lighting? High-key lighting is a style of lighting for

film, television, or photography that aims to reduce the lighting ratio
present in the scene. This was originally done partly for technological
reasons, since early film and television did not deal well with high
contrast ratios, but now is used to suggest an upbeat mood.

What genres may use this? Romance or comedies as they need a

higher lighting to create a more up beat mood.

What is ambient lighting? It is the combination of light reflections from

various surfaces to produce a uniform illumination called the ambient
light.
