Structure of a

Paragraph
I-E-Q-T-E-L

IDEA
Your paragraph should always begin
with an IDEA sentence. This should
relate back to the question asked. Your
idea sentence should preview what
your paragraph will be discussing.

Example
Your example section of your
paragraph should provide a general
description of how your text supports
your statement you made in your idea
sentence.

Quote
You must include a quote from your
text that supports your example
provided.

Technique/Effect
You must then analyse the example provided by
referring to techniques used by the composer
and their effect on the responder.

Note: You must refer to at least 2 - 3 techniques.

Link
The final sentence in your paragraph should be
your linking sentence. This is where you will link
your analysis back to the question asked.
