Gregg Alan Bitondo was a three-sport varsity athlete at Kianny Regional High School. He

points. A%er excelling in youth baseball, Gregg joined his big brother, Bryan, on the KRHS golf
team.
Gregg died tragically on May 11, 1999. He was a seventeen year-old high school junior. He died
doing what he loved having fun, being with friends and stretching his physical limits. Gregg
Bitondo Memorial Scholarship Award programs have been set up to memorialize Greggs
passion for life and for athlecs and to recognize those student-athletes whose determinaon
and leadership matches that of Gregg.
The Annual Gregg Bitondo Memorial Scholarship Golf Oung will contribute to the perpetuity
of the scholarships, awarded annually at the MacKinnon Middle School in Wharton, where
Greggs dad, Rick, was the Superintendent; at Newton High School, the district in which Bryan
teaches and coaches, and at Kianny Regional High School, where Greggs sister, Dana,
teaches.
