    Greetings from The SoulCare Project, a ministry dedicated to providing the rare opportunity to set aside the productive life in order to come away and listen for God’s voice through stillness. We are inviting you to a retreat designed for Creatives. Some people might ask, “What do you mean by Creatives?” We mean anyone whose job is to create meaningful new forms; scientists and engineers, university professors, poets and architects, and also includes "people in design, education, arts, music and entertainment. Anyone whose economic function is to create new ideas, new technology and/or creative content” (Florida, 2002). Our retreat facilitator will be artist and author, Troy Bronsink, a musician/author helping shape the worship practices of the future church. Troy Bronsink is Presbyterian minister with over 15 years of experience in teaching and facilitation. Retreats are spacious and casual, roughly following his recent book, Drawn In: A Creative Practice for Artists, Activists, & Jesus Followers—starting by listening to our life's ingredients, then observing our creative process, and concluding with customizing our intentional practices. Participants will come away rested, with a framework to address creative block in existing projects, self understanding about their own creative process, and applied understanding of at least three prayer practices to continue at home.
