Food Webs
All living things in the rainforest are linked together. A plant can be eaten by an animal, which gets eaten by a bigger
animal, which can then be eaten by an even bigger animal! All these different links come together to make a food
web. Our tropical rainforest has lots of different food webs, but not nearly as many as an actual rainforest.

Your Mission:
Find one of our Tropical Forest's food webs.
You'll need to identify a producer, a primary consumer, a secondary consumer and a tertiary consumer.

Producer
These organisms get their energy from the sun.

Primary consumer
These organisms eat producers to get their energy.

Secondary consumer
These organisms eat primary consumers to get their energy.

Tertiary consumers
These organisms eat secondary consumers to get their energy.
