It takes a community.

We encourage area residents of Evansville to become a member, or

renew their membership, with the Grove Society. Your
membership fee is needed to support special programming and to
cover operating and maintenance expenses for the historic Baker
Building. Membership forms will be available at Society events,
the Eager Free Public Library and on our website. The Evansville
Review and the website will promote future events also.
We encourage you to attend our events. The Society is
cosponsoring programs with the Eager Free Public Library, The
Heights, and Creekside Place. The Society would like to increase
its partnership with the Youth Center and the Evansville School
system to promote the history of Evansville.
Want to make a difference? Do become a volunteer! There are
many volunteer opportunities to match your special skills and
strengths. Here is just a sample: historic preservation,
programming, financial management, fundraising, carpentry,
museum collections, photography, hospitality, landscaping,
newsletter editor or membership.
The Grove Society is very proud of its recent award for excellence
by the Wisconsin Historical Society as the best historical society in
Wisconsin in 2014. We need your support to continue this high
level of support. Together, we will build an even stronger, more
vibrant organization that will add to our sense of pride in
Evansville and its accomplishments.
