1- Discussion about Family Care Center
2- Discussion about the presentation of the writer Professor Jeremy Pader
Language is Communication. Reading is communication with the writer. Writing is
the way for the author to communicate with the audience.
We write in communities - writing is a conversation and continuation of ideas with
others that came before us.
Poems
Dreams by Langston Hughes
Hold fast to dream
For its dreams die
Life is broken winged bird
That cannot fly
Hold fast to dreams
For when dreams go
Life is a barrier field
Frozen with snow
I, Too, Sing America by Langston Hughes
I am the darker brother
They send me to eat in the kitchen
When company comes,
But I laugh
And eat well
And you strong
Tomorrow,
Ill be at the table
When company comes
Nobodyll dare
Eat in the kitchen
Then
Besides,

Theyll see how beautiful I am

And be ashamed
I, too, am America

POEM by Naika Guerra

Sunny days, cloudy days
Snowy days, windy days
Good days, bad days
Bright days, dark days
Weather changes
Happiness, sadness,
Optimistic, pessimistic
Feelings changes
Every day is unique
Unique like you are
Yesterday was a different day
Different from the one you feel today
Today is a new day
A new day to thanks God
God is the only one
The only one who knows what will happen tomorrow
Enjoy the day today
Today forget what happened yesterday
Think in a better future
Dont worry be happy
Life is beautiful
Beautiful as you are
You are fine
God is with you today, tomorrow and always
This is the first time I write a poem. I liked this experience. I express my feelings
in order to make other people read and learn from my experiences.
