Early Warning Letters

Dear Parents,

Two weeks ago I sent out letters of Early Warning if

This months theme for our classroom is for the


LOVE of reading sticking to the valentines theme
we have tried to incorporate the childrens love of
reading. To help include the students each child is
asked to bring his or her favorite book to share
with the class on Friday Feb, 13th.

nuestra facultad y personal. Esto tambin le ayudar a
mantenerse involucrados con el trabajo escolar de sus
alumnos.

second language? Do not worry, I am offering a
class for parents one night a week to help you
learn our language (English) to help you better
communicate with our faculty and staff. This will
also help you stay involved with your students'
school work.
We also have well trained ELL teachers who are
working with your student daily if English is not
their primary language. We have this to help
ensure your childs success and to make sure that
they receive equal opportunities to progress to the
next grade level.

Helpful Hint of the Month

Creating good study habits:


Notes are not the only way for students to review and
study the information that they have learned in class.
A student can use study cards with pictures and other
visuals.
There are also games that the student and parent can
use to better prepare the student for testing and to
ensure that they understand what they are being
taught.
How to create an effective study environment:
1. Establish a defined study area
2. Provide the proper study tools
3. Help your kids tap into their particular learning
styles
