Description of how to implement in the class:
Graph club will be used to teach the students the uses and functions of a graph. For starters there will be a sample
graph on the interactive white board where all students can participate in the learning process. Once the rules and
functions of Graph Club have been established, students may be directed to learn how to make their own graphs. If the
classroom setting allows it, students can work on their graphs individually or be given instructions to work as a group.
Once the student has finished his or her graphs, each student (or group) can present their graphs to the classroom to
show the different possibilities, while also giving the class an opportunity to review graphing.
* Examples of common instructional models include whole group, teacher-led, student self-paced, small group, or
individual learning activities. Use as many of these descriptors or other descriptors as apply.
