Dear Families,
Starting next week, Monitor 5th
Graders will begin the 2015 annual
standardized testing period. This year, your
5th grader will be taking the PARCC
Performance-Based Assessments and Endof-Year Assessments for Math and Literacy,
as well as the Arkansas State Benchmark
Test for Science. These tests are spread out
during the months of March, April, and May.
By working together, we can make sure
your 5th graders testing experience is both
positive and successful. You can help your
child by:
Making sure he/she gets a good
nights rest.
Making sure he/she eats a healthy
breakfast at home or at school each
morning.
Making sure he/she arrives at school
ON TIME.
Trying to make sure any necessary
appointments are scheduled on nontesting days.
Continuing to encourage your child to
always give their best effort.
