2. She was the daughter of Henry the V111 and
Anne Boleyn.
3. She was born on the 7 September 1533 and
died 24 March 1603 (aged69).
4. Queen Elizabeth never married.
5. She was a big fan of Shakespeares work.

William Shakespeare
1. William Shakespeare was born April 26, 1564.
2. and died April 23, 1616.
3. Some of Shakespeare's early plays include The
Taming of the Shrew, Richard III, Romeo and
Juliet, and A Midsummer Night's Dream.
4. In 1582, he married 26 year-old Anne
Hathaway at the age of 18. In 1583, Williams
first child, Susanna was born.
5. The Globe Theatre was a key place where
many of his plays were played.

Shakespeare and Elizabeth


Queen Elizabeth was a large admirer of
Shakespeare's work. Shakespeare found
inspiration in her strong belief in being a single
women. Even though the queen did fall in love,
she ignored her emotions and hid them away.
So she put up a strong defensive front to
protect her self from stereotypical attitudes.
The film Much ado about nothing can be
related to the queen as the strong character
Beatrice has similarities to the Queen as they
both stand by feminist beliefs.
