Standards Addressed: MCC.3.MD.3 Draw a scaled picture graph and a
scaled bar graph to represent a data set with several categories. Solve oneand two-step how many more and how many less problems using
information presented in scaled bar graphs. For example, draw a bar graph
in which each square in the bar graph might represent 5 pets.

how to collect data from a certain topic and provide a graph using the data
they had collected.
Level of Technology Implementation (LoTi): I believe it is level 3 for it is
using technology and also is creating their work.
Description of the sample spreadsheet and graph/chart provided *: They
will see a spread sheet and will use a spread sheet to plot how many votes
of each category of foods students chose.
Other comments about your proposed spreadsheet/graph/chart activity: I
adapted the spreadsheet of this user. I found this spread sheet simple and
thought to use it.
