I would like to apply for your Summer Sound Intern position that is
available at Bay Street Theatre. I have learned about your position
online through Offstage Jobs.
I am currently studying Theatre Technology/Design at Adelphi
University with a concentration in Sound, and I plan to graduate May of
2017.
I feel that I would be a good candidate for this position due to my
experience learning Sound at Adelphi University, working as a general
technician at Adelphis Performing Arts Center, as well as working one
summer at URJ Camp Harlam as Audio/Visual Specialist. I also work in
Adelphis theatre department as a work-study employee. I have
knowledge of common sound software, and I can learn new software
quickly. I have a very good work ethic, and will work as hard as I can in
order to get a desired product. I also have strong time management
skills and work well with deadlines.
I would like the opportunity to talk with you to discuss any openings in
