Sharpen your studs, tighten those laces, pull up those socks...its everyone's favourite day of the week again gentlemen. No longer do we count
down to the weekend its all about Tuesday. This week Nick stepped up to the plate to pick the teams. Huge pressure after his Fat, Fatter and
fattest comments. I will let you decided which category you fit in.
On paper these teams look competetive but as we all know, you dont play football on paper. Both teams can boast an average team win %
greater than 50% which would suggest high morale on both sides. However, its Graydon's team (subject to this weeks individual anlysis) who
have the stats in their favour against Gary's troops ( also subject to individual analysis).
Both sets of players have identical average teams losses this season, at 3.67, but Graydon's Goons have the edge on average wins this season
with an impressive 4.67 against Gary's Greats 3.00. The Gap here can easily be explained by the presence of Luke and Jonny in Graydons team
as both have 7 victories this season, Far more than anyone else on show. There does appear to be some tension in the ranks. Luke recently
stated that his brother " should have played better" and POTY was heard shouting "have more confidence". Dissension in the ranks?
The individual analytics cast further doubt on the ability of Gary's team to get the all important "W" tonight. Despite a delay in Gary's season
starting (see appendix 6) he was straight out the traps with three straight victories, making himself one of the invicibles. Its been harder times
for the big man recently. He comes into the game off of two straight defeats. Surely the hair dryer treatment will motivate him tonight. Gary
still has a personal win rate of 60% ( see appendix 2). He has only made an appearance in 55% of the fixtures this season ( see appendix 3).
Could he be injury prone?
The key area of concern of Gary and his troops is there ability to play with each other (see appendix 1). Gary has limited time on the pitch with
his team mates tonight, with only Nick and Kris being on his side more than once. He does call on one of the two remaining invicibles tojnight
in the bald, lanky shape of Milky. Worryingly though is the fact hes only been on the winning side with two players Nick (once ) and Milky
(once).
For big G things are a little rosier, the big man has a massive 83% win rate ( see appendix 2) having only lost once this season from 6 games (
see appendix 3). He is the only person tonight to make his first appearance this month ( see appendix 7). The nail in the coffin in terms of the
favouriotes tag is surely down to the big mans seasons performances with his team mates. Big G has only being on the losing side with Stub
