Systematic Observation 1: Teacher Feedback

While observing Mr. Reggie, I had to point out every scenario that
he was in that involved him giving his students feedback. During this
process I noticed that Mr. Reggie did a great job giving feedback and
allowing students to perform well. Most of the feedback that he was
proving was for improvement and not so much of behavior. That meant
that his students were engaged in the activity and understood that
misbehaving was not positive. Mr. Reggie was able to provide
individual feedback and when I saw this I noticed that the student

processed that information that was given to them and applied to

become better. I also noticed that Mr. Reggie gave feedback to the
class in general, he told them that they should listen to what he had to
say because later he also asked him questions to check for their
understanding. One thing I would say to improve is that Mr. Reggie
should enforce more strictness on those students who just throw the
Frisbee far and high.
Systematic Observation 2: Time Analysis
While observing Mr. Reggie and his class, I had to see and check
if students were not only physically engaged but engaged for 50% of
the time for about 5 seconds on a 10 second interval. During gameplay
I noticed that most of the students are engaged in a moderate to
vigorous activity for longer periods of time. In this situation I noticed
that the students spent more than 20 minutes of physical activity, so
that meant that the students were more active then they were
listening or misbehaving. The only thing I would say to improve is that
Mr. Reggie should try to remind the students that they should spread
out more on the blacktop because I saw that all of the students were
crowded. Overall, Mr. Reggie did a great job this week, the students
learned new material and they all got great minutes of physical
activity.
