Notes/Reminders

The Newberry Medal book project is due April 6 th. This is an AT HOME project. Students have
selected their book, ask them and make sure they have chosen one. There is a pink packet
that was sent home with them with details on the project and expectations. The forms for the
project will have sent home today. Thank you for supporting them at home with this project.

Weekly Reading Log: The expectation is for students to write a minimum of three sentences
about what they read during their daily reading (required minimum of twenty minutes per day).
The writing can be a personal reflection, short summary of main idea, etc. A parent/guardian

needs to initial the box Parent Signature to verify that the required reading has been
