WHAT HAVE YOU LEARNT ABOUT TECHNOLOGIES

FROM THE
PROCESS OF CONSTRUCTION THIS PRODUCT?

Photoshop
Photoshop has played a big roll I the construction of the magazine
as it has been the main piece of software in which I used to create
it. Photo shop has many different tricks which you can learn to turn
a simple image into a amazing magazine cover. One of the most
simple but most useful things i have learnt is how to keep image
clarity whilst still resizing the image. May be simple but holding
down the Shift Key and Dragging from the images corners allows
the image to sty clear and this became very useful throughout the
construction there were multiple images which had to have their
size changed and manipulated. Also in Photoshop i have learned
you ca change an develop a lot of different effects on image by
using the FX section on the tool bar. This was very useful and has
helped me developed my skills on Photoshop.

Power Point
PowerPoint is one of my favourite
presentation software's and this is
mostly due to its complete efficiency
and simplicity. You can easily construct
answers and make
good presentations which are clear
within minutes. I however learnt that
its easier to create the answers on a
word document and then paste them in
when your lay out
is correct I did this so I did not spend
too much time making text fit to he
layout.

Prezi
Prezi was one of the first experimental
presentation software which I have used
and it is very difficult to use in my opinion.
The software is designed to make
presentations but is hard to navigate and
if not carefully proof viewed you may end
up with allot of missing information or the
information that you are trying to get
across maybe viewed in a completely
random order. The Prezi however was quite
easy to translate
over to blogger whereas some of the other
software have to be processed via different

Final Thoughts
Those are an example of some of the
platforms in which I have used throughout.
The magazine was constructed with care and
this was good as it allowed me to experience
different platforms and developed my
knowledge. Before I used to use mostly word
documents and PowerPoint but now I have
effective different software. Some platforms
are more suited to me but I have learnt you
need patience with most in order to gain the
most success.
