I used mspowerpoint from most of the time because sometimes I lose connection and it’s hard to
reconnect or continue my work within a limited time before the internet goes back and I like using it
because some animation features are only in Microsoft power point and it is not hard to manipulate

The next one that I used for convenience is Google slide because of our activity in GCR I sometimes can
only access the PowerPoint thru the slide and most importantly I use Google slide for collaboration works
with my teamwork by sharing the file and edit it at the same time so it wont get that much hassle for a
single individual to solo the whole presentation

What is a presentation software?

Presentation software is a type of software that can make your presentation or report more creative and
cleaner it is also easy to use once we learn it and also we can persuade many people virtually or face to
face because of the interface and your own design

What are the advantages and disadvantages of desktop presentation software? Give at least one
advantage and one disadvantage.

Its advantage is you can easily access your work anytime whether online or not

And the disadvantage is that it can be accessed on a limited devices and you need to pay for it in order to
use its whole purpose

What is the difference between desktop presentation software and cloud-based presentation
software?

as we observe them both. The difference between them is that the cloud based is in need of an account in
order to save it and it needs a wifi in order to used but in desktop type is you can save in in internal
storage of your computer and works everywhere and anytime.

If you wish to show images of your newly invented product and its features to your colleagues
from an online conference, which classification of presentation software will you use? Cloud
based presentation because I can share the link freely with the file itself

If you will present a report in a classroom set up, which classification of presentation software
will you use?

Of course I will use ms powerpoint because it is powerful type and many features

When can you use cloud-based presentation software?

When sharing with others and when you need to paste in classroom platform

By analyzing the similarities and differences of the two classifications of presentation software,
which classification will you choose and why? Explain your answer.

I will still use ms word because it is accessible everywhere and much more easy to transfer the files

How will you know if you are using cloud-based software when creating presentations on your
laptop or desktop computer? You will know it if your are using a browser to create a powerpoint and
installed software for desktop type.

It has been said that open-source presentation software is the most convenient and inexpensive.
What is your opinion on this? Justify your answer.

in my own opinion the reason is that it is been sold in the lower cost in the browser and also they cannot
exceed the payment unless they improve the system and it is more safer because the code that we used in
transferring many files is invincible, meaning it is unpredictable and cannot be accessed easily without a
hacking skills

It has been said that videos are an example of a presentation. What is your position on this?
Justify your answer.

Yes it is an example of a presentation because at the same time we use a platform in order for us to save
its file and depends on what kind of content the video has its still an example because you are trying to
present it so others could see it.
