    After obtaining the entry permit at phuntsoling and road


    permit start a long climb from phuntsoling (first town of
    Bhutan) to Thimpu.
    Initially, you see the vast vistas of the Bengal plains with
    wide river basins and rice fields, but soon you are
    sandwiched

    between valleys

    and

    vegetation

    also

    changes rapidly. Traffic is mild.


    Enroute Darla/ Gedu/ Wangka. Midway to Thimpu, at
    Lachungang. There is DANTAK Lunch stop-over.
    Enroute Chukka valley. Overnight at Thimpu.
