today, your destination is BhalukaGhera. This place is famous for brown bears and hence the nam.

same direction, you can see a bridge, which is made up of logs.
It is necessary to cross the bridge with caution. Just after crossing the bridge there is a stream of fast
flowing water. Keep yourself to the left to reach the destination. After a point you start gaining altitude.
Many different varieties of flowers can be seen all the way. Theres another stream of water after this. It
is recommended to cross the stream in the morning itself as that time the water current is slow and
steady as compared to the second half of the day. Total travel is about 8 kilometers and takes approx. 4
5 hours.
Day 03: BalukaGera to Siagoru, Cross Hampta Pass
It is very important to begin the trek early on this day. The entire day is spent crossing a valley.

Trekking in Hampta pass is one of the most fabulous experiences you can have. There is abundant
natural beauty around and it cannot be explained in words. It is a perfect location to click some
fabulous pictures. Stalls are provided on the way where you can take some rest. About 14000 feet
above the sea level is Lahaul which you can be reached after leaving behind Hampta Pass.
Here a field full of snow awaits you. This snow stays for almost the entire year. Trekking here is not
difficult as the altitude is moderate. The last bridge could prove challenging as the climb is steep and
could prove taxing for the body. The climbing upis followed by a huge descent. Then you reach Siagoru
at 13000 ft and it is ideal for camping. You cover 14 kms and it can leave you exhausted to rest is must.
Day 04: Siagoru to Chatru. Drive to Chandratal
Start the day early and have your breakfast. Get ready for the trek and cross the river which is seen from
the campsite. Half of the trek is very easy as it is full descent and the rest of the trek is very tiring as high
you traverse steep altitudes. After descending you see the large valley of river Chandra.
Chandra River is at 11000 feet and is located on Manali Kaza highway. On the way, there are a lot of
dhabas to eat at. The food is delicious. By the end of the day, you cover 8 kms approximately, taking
roughly 5 hours to complete.
Day 05: Chandratal to Manali
Now you are at the end of the trek. You reach Manali and end the journey. You start your journey by
car. The road leads you to Chandratal. It opens in the mid of July, and it closes by the last week of
October. Rest days of the year this road cannot be traversed as it will be covered with snow. In winters
you need to choose an alternate path such as via Kunzum La. It makes the border between Spiti and
Lahaul. You cross Chotadhara on the way from Kaza to Batal. From Batal, you have two options. Either
