Format of the Test Paper:
Section 1: 6 multiple choice questions (1 mark each)
Section 2: 2 15 mark questions, consisting of a number of sub-parts
Topics to be Covered:
The following topics will be specifically examined. The references are to chapters
in the textbooks Year 11 and 12 Cambridge Mathematics 3 Unit.
1. Year 11, Chapter One: Harder Questions on Linear Equations and Inequations,
Quadratic Equations, Simultaneous Equations and Completing the Square
2. Year 11, Chapter Three: Further Inequations
3. Year 11, Chapter Three: Harder Questions on Absolute
Value Equations and Inequations
4. Year 12, Chapter Nine: Circle Geometry
5. Year 12, Chapter Eight: Plane Geometry
As always, all earlier work is assumed knowledge, and may be examined.
In order to undertake this task you will need to bring:

a ruler
pens and lead pencil
an eraser
a Board-approved calculator
a Board-approved template if you wish
